The Workabout device is extremely expandable, with devices available such as bar code readers, printers, docking ports, GSM phone connections and many more.

The Workabout offers exceptional performance and has been adopted in a broad range of applications including Sales Order Entry, Concession Point of Sale, Asset Tracking and Warehouse Picking systems.

The HC range of handheld devices comprises of a sophisticated range of rugged machines.
Being very robust it ideally suited to a wide range of applications such as highway data surveying, warehouse systems, asset tracking, field service applications and various industrial applications.

Like the Workabout, the HC handheld device is extremely expandable with many peripherals available.

Portable PC's

The use of a portable computer can often be of more benefit than a handheld device. Sometimes a piece of software is required which is more memory or disk intensive than can be catered for on a handheld, so a portable becomes the next logical solution.

Portable computers have the speed and flexibility of many desktop machines and can have appropriate applications written for them which utilise this.
An example of the flexibility of a portable computer can bee seen when looking at a field service application.
By supplying an engineer with a portable computer and printer in a suitable ABS attaché case, they have a portable, protected device that they can take to various customer sites which allows for job processing and full size document/invoice printing. By utilising an internal CD-ROM device in a portable computer, the flexibility now exists to supply a few CD-ROM's to an engineer, which will allow full service instructions and diagrams to be carried for the companies product range, along with ordering codes for parts and accessories.
